Executive Architect. warrant acquistion and construction coordination
AXN Architecture provided Executive Architect services for the delivery of Cults Academy, a contemporary secondary school development in Aberdeen designed by VA Arkitektar.
Working closely with the design team over an 18-month period, our role focused on technical design development, construction detailing, building services coordination and fire strategy integration to support the successful delivery of this major educational facility.
The project provided an opportunity to collaborate with a highly regarded international design team, gaining valuable insight into Scandinavian approaches to learning environments, social placemaking and robust construction detailing. Through close coordination between architects, consultants and contractors, the design vision was translated into a practical, buildable and technically resolved school environment.
The completed facility delivers high-quality teaching accommodation, social spaces and supporting infrastructure designed to serve pupils, staff and the wider Aberdeen community for generations.
