Working within a defined budget, the design introduces a restrained architectural language of white render, natural timber and generous glazing, creating a clear distinction between old and new while remaining sympathetic to the existing house.

Internally, the extension delivers a light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining and family living space. Large areas of glazing connect the home directly to the garden, transforming what was previously a series of disconnected rooms into a warm, sociable and naturally lit living environment.
