A masterplan and planning application package for a sensitive redevelopment of the church and grounds into a 15-unit residential scheme. Proposals sought to balance the preservation of the historic building and site character with the creation of high-quality new homes.
The project required careful consideration of heritage constraints, affordable housing policy, developer contributions, site viability and the long-term future of the church. The masterplan explored how the site could be transformed into an attractive residential environment while respecting its architectural character and exceptional setting.
The proposals demonstrated the potential for the sensitive regeneration of a significant historic site and the delivery of a distinctive coastal residential development.
